Betsy was born in New York City and grew up in London, UK and Cincinnati, OH. She first developed an interest in photography in high school, but went on to study psychology at Earlham College in Richmond, IN. After living in Boston for a year, Betsy then moved to New York where she once again pursued photography, collecting vintage cameras and using them to capture the people and cityscapes around her. She currently lives in Brooklyn, has an expensive Polaroid habit and continually haunts thrift stores for new cameras to acquire.
